Terms of Service

Pokémon and Pokémon character names, sprites, and related media are trademarks of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK Inc. Pikacord is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or Discord Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility

By adding Pikacord to a Discord server or interacting with any of its slash commands, mention commands (@Pikacord), or message components, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Discord’s Terms of Service, and Discord’s Community Guidelines.

You must be at least 13 years of age—or the minimum age of digital consent in your country of residence—to use Pikacord. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately remove the Bot from your server and cease interacting with it.

2. Permitted Use and Restrictions

Pikacord provides an interactive simulation environment within Discord. To maintain a fair economy and stable infrastructure, you agree not to:

  • Automate Gameplay: Use macros, auto-typers, self-bots, modified Discord clients, or external scripts to trigger spawns, bypass cooldowns, solve verification prompts, or automate command execution.

Knowingly receiving duped, exploited, or RMT-sourced items or currency may also result in inventory rollbacks or account termination.

3. Virtual Assets and Game Data

All in-game Pokémon, IVs, levels, items, and currencies are ephemeral digital entries tied to your unique Discord User ID.

  • No Monetary Value: Virtual assets represent a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use features within Pikacord. They hold no real-world monetary value, are not your personal property, and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency.
  • Game Balancing and Resets: We reserve the right to modify stats, adjust spawn rates, rebalance economies, wipe inventories, or roll back database states at any time to fix bugs, address exploits, or improve gameplay.
  • Discord Account Loss: Because your save data is tied directly to your Discord User ID, Pikacord is not responsible for lost progress resulting from your Discord account being hacked, disabled, or terminated by Discord. Data transfers between Discord IDs are not guaranteed and are handled strictly at our discretion.

Pikacord also keeps a Pokédex catch-history record for catches. Each record is associated with your Discord User ID and includes the Pokémon species and form, shiny status, and catch timestamp. The catch record does not include the Discord channel, server (guild), or message where the catch occurred.

You can permanently delete your trainer and its personal progress through Account Service in the web dashboard. You must acknowledge the deletion terms and enter your exact Discord username. Deletion cannot proceed while an active battle, trade, gym, dungeon, or tower activity is underway; finish it in Discord first. A completed deletion removes your trainer and its personal records, including catch history and pending reward escrow. Shared trade, battle, reward, vote, and redemption receipts may remain where needed to preserve other players’ records or prevent duplicate rewards. Deletion does not remove your Discord account, messages, or server settings, and you cannot restore your Pikacord progress from the dashboard. Use /start in Discord to create a new trainer.

4. Donations and Supporter Perks

Contributions made via Patreon or other payment processors are voluntary donations to support server hosting and development costs, not purchases of goods.

  • Non-Refundable: All donations and supporter subscriptions are final and non-refundable.
  • Chargebacks: Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback will result in an immediate, permanent ban of your Discord ID from Pikacord and revocation of all associated perks.
  • Rule Compliance: Supporter status does not exempt you from these Terms of Service. If your account is banned for violating Section 2, you will not be entitled to a refund of any active supporter contributions.

5. Availability, Termination, and Disclaimers

Pikacord is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

  • No Uptime or Data Guarantee: We do not guarantee continuous uptime, error-free operation, or permanent data storage. Outages or data loss caused by Discord API changes, hosting failures, or database corruption may occur without liability to the Pikacord development team.
  • Right to Terminate: We reserve the right to temporarily suspend, permanently ban, wipe data, or blacklist any user or Discord server at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice.
  • Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall Pikacord’s developers, contributors, or moderators be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect new bot features, legal requirements, or Discord policy changes. Continued use of Pikacord after changes are posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated terms.

  • Operate Alternate Accounts ("Alting"): Use secondary Discord accounts to farm starter rewards, bypass daily cooldowns, manipulate market prices, or funnel currency and items to a primary account.
  • Engage in Real-Money or Cross-Platform Trading (RMT): Buy, sell, trade, or auction Pikacord currency, items, or Pokémon for real-world money, cryptocurrency, Discord Nitro, server boosts, or assets in other Discord bots/games.
  • Exploit Vulnerabilities: Knowingly abuse bugs, duplication glitches, or calculation errors. All discovered exploits must be reported immediately via our official support server.
  • Evade Enforcement: Use alternate accounts or proxy servers to bypass a user ban or server blacklist.
  • Disrupt Infrastructure: Intentionally spam commands, overload rate limits, or attempt unauthorized access to the Bot’s hosting servers, databases, or APIs.
