Pikacord trading lets two trainers exchange Pokémon, eligible bag items, and League Points (LP). Both trainers build an offer in the same trade room, inspect what each side is giving, and confirm when they are ready. Nothing moves until both have confirmed.
Before you start
Both trainers need a Pikacord profile and must be at least Trainer Level 5. Neither can be in another active game activity or an existing trade. The other trainer must be a member of the same Discord server, and a server admin may have disabled trading there.
You cannot trade with yourself or with a Discord bot. Pokémon deployed on an Expedition must be claimed or recalled before you offer them.
Send a trade request
Use /trade start and choose the other trainer in the target option. In a message that mentions Pikacord, you can start one with trade @Trainer (or trade start @Trainer).
The other trainer has 30 seconds to accept or decline the request. If they do not respond in time, the request expires. Pikacord checks both trainers again after acceptance; if either has become busy or no longer meets the requirements, the room will not open.
Add Pokémon, items, and LP
Once the room opens, use its Edit offer button or the /trade add subcommand. Each add command accepts one kind of asset at a time.
| Offer | Slash command | Message command after mentioning Pikacord |
|---|---|---|
| Pokémon by box number or name | /trade add pokemon:42 | trade add 42 or trade add pokemon Mr. Mime |
| Items by name, ID, or bag number | /trade add item:ultra-ball quantity:5 | trade add ultra-ball 5 |
| League Points | /trade add lp:2000 | trade add 2000 lp |
For Pokémon, a box number selects one specific Pokémon. If a name matches more than one Pokémon in your collection, Pikacord opens a picker; choose the right one there. The picker shows up to 25 choices at a time, with page buttons when there are more.
For items, the quantity defaults to one. Adding the same item again increases its offered quantity. You need to own the full amount you offer. Account-bound items, Key Items, Key Stones, and other items marked non-tradeable cannot be offered.
LP offers must be whole numbers and cannot exceed your current balance. Adding LP increases your current offer; the Edit offer panel lets you set the total directly.
The offer panel also has controls to remove an offered Pokémon, remove an item, or reset offered LP to zero. Removing an item removes that item’s full offered quantity. Changes appear in the shared trade room; an offer that is too large to display must be shortened before you can add more.
Review the room
The trade room shows both trainers’ offers and whether each trainer is Not ready or Confirmed. A Pokémon entry includes its name, level, box number, shiny marker, and held item. Items show their quantities, and LP appears as a total.
Use Details in the offer editor to inspect the offered Pokémon on both sides. It shows nature, ability, IVs, and RV values. This is a useful final check when the Pokémon’s stats matter to the deal.
The bot checks that each Pokémon is still available and eligible, each item is tradeable and in the owner’s bag, and each LP amount is still covered by the owner’s balance. It does not judge whether the two offers have equal value, so agree on the terms and check both sides yourself.
Confirm the exchange
After reviewing the room, press Confirm or use /trade confirm. One confirmation marks that trainer ready; the exchange completes only after the other trainer confirms too. Wait about 2.5 seconds after the latest offer change before confirming so both sides have time to review it.
Any change to either offer clears both confirmations. Review the updated room and confirm again. If an asset has become unavailable by the time both trainers confirm, Pikacord reports the problem and does not partially complete the exchange.
When the trade completes, the room is replaced with a receipt showing what each trainer received. Pokémon that evolve when traded can evolve as part of the exchange. A held item used for that evolution may be consumed, and the receipt names the evolution.
Cancel or check a trade
Either trainer can cancel an open room with its Cancel button or /trade cancel. The invited trainer can decline the request before the room opens. Declining, cancelling, or letting the room expire leaves both trainers’ assets as they were. An inactive room expires after 10 minutes; changes in the room refresh that timer.
Use /trade status to get back to the active room. The message command trade also shows your active room when you already have one.
