Evolution can change a Pokémon's stats, types, appearance, and available moves. The requirement depends on the species: some need a level, others need an item, enough friendship, or the right time of day.
Check /pokedex <pokemon> before buying an evolution item. Use /info to check your own Pokémon's level, friendship, and held item.
Common requirements

Some evolutions combine requirements. Meeting the level requirement alone won't help if the Pokémon also needs friendship or a particular time of day.

Some console-game evolution methods need a different interaction in Discord. Use the requirement shown in Pikacord's Pokédex rather than assuming a console guide applies unchanged.
If a Pokémon hasn't evolved, compare its /info details with its evolution entry. Check its level, friendship, required item, and time condition.

Your local timezone doesn't change Pikacord's evolution clock:
- Day: 06:00–17:59 UTC.
- Night: 18:00–05:59 UTC.
Use /time to see which period is active and how long remains before it changes.
